Meeting Search Tips

  • If you enter a zipcode, the resulting map will be centered on that zipcode, and a number of meetings closest to the center will be shown. They may be in adjoining zipcodes.

  • A General Service District number can be used. It will bring up that a map of that District along with meeting locations.

  • You can enter items other than numbers. If you enter all or part of a Group name, then all groups which contain the phrase which was entered will be displayed. For example, the word Serenity can be entered and will return a number of results throughout the coverage area. Results are meeting locations which contain a Group or Meeting which contains the word Serenity.

  • A club name can be entered. For example, entering the word Delta will return the location of the Delta Club.

  • Clicking on the words Areas or Districts up above the search box will take you to a page where you can obtain information as to meetings in different sections of the Metropolitan area, or as to meetings within the General Service Districts.

  • If you click on a pin on the map, a page will be returned which will show you a description of the location. Further clicking on the name of the Group, or of the Club, or on the words Full Schedule will bring up a page where you can enter an address for step-by-step instructions on how to get to that particular location from where you are located.

  • The following symbols are used to indicate certain meeting characteristics:
      - A closed meeting   - An open meeting
      - A men's meeting   - A women's meeting
      - A mostly gay meeting   - A young people's meeting
      - A smoking meeting   - A non-smoking meeting
      - A wheelchair accessible meeting
